Now that we have had our first cold snap, the trees are finally starting to shed their leaves. This means there will be lots of leaves on our lawns, in our driveways, and also in our streets.
Please remember to clean up the leaves that are in the street in front of your house, and do not sweep/blow them into the storm drain system. The leaves will decompose and make a solid mass of organic waste that will impair, if not plug-up, the storm drain system. Please do not worsen any drainage issues we already have by not cleaning up the leaves in the street that borders your property.
Thank you for your cooperation!
