Houston Solid Waste Management has launched HTX Collects, a mobile app that will allow residents to stay
better connected with the City’s waste and recycling collection programs.

The mobile app can remind you of your collection day, so you’ll never forget again! The new tools are also on our website at HoustonRecycles.org where residents can print a personalized collection calendar, sign up for service reminders by email or phone, and/or download you personal collection schedule to your iCal, Google or Outlook calendar.
SERVICE ALERTS
Sign up today to receive alerts when your collection service may be delayed. Residents can receive alerts on their phone through our new mobile app HTX Collects, or go to our website HoustonRecycles.org for email and phone reminder sign-ups.
WASTE WIZARD
Ever wonder if something is recyclable? Or where to drop-off items between collection days? Download our new HTX Collects mobile app today by searching for “Houston Trash and Recycling” in the app store, and use the built in Waste Wizard to find the answers to your questions. The Waste Wizard will tell you how to properly dispose of an item, provide the drop-off location closest to you and any special instructions needed.

Never miss a collection day again! Download the new Houston Solid Waste service reminder app, HTX Collects from the iOS App and/or Google Play store today. Sign up to receive service day reminders as mobile notifications, email or phone call. You can even add your collection days to your personal iCal, Google or Outlook calendar.
